They most certainly did. I'm also pretty sure I showed you the exact text of the DNC rules stating as much.

That's exactly what I'm asserting, coz they weren't, so they obviously didn't have to.

They should have as far as the rules are concerned, but welp. I'm sure the DNC will look into their own actions and see if they broke any rules and punish themselves accordingly. :(
