Of course there are. He's a standard-issue conservative Republican. He may be a demagogue and an extremist but functionally his presidency would look practically identical to the W. Bush presidency. Most Republican voters don't have a reason NOT to vote for him. The only thing different about him is that his rhetoric has been updated to better reflect where the GOP is in their whole "war on our values" thing, and the fact that he's more conservative than past presidential Republican nominees because the modern Republican nominee is more conservative than the Republican party was in the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and even 00s.
I've never questioned for a second why people vote for him. It's the Republican voters who vote for other candidates, like Trump or Rubio, that I question (for different reasons).
Seriously?
He's a reality show star who makes up policy positions on the spot. He wants to round up and deport 12 million people, he wants to ban an entire religious group from the country, he wants to impose massive tariffs which could spark a trade war, he wants to reduce funding for NATO, he wants to let Japan and South Korea defend themselves, he wants to expand laws to prosecute media outlets, etc etc. Not to mention he's basically the Hillary Clinton of Republicans, in that he has flip flopped on multiple issues.
I get that you Democratic hacks are going to try to lump every Republican in with Donald Trump, but don't expect that retardation to work here.
