Well, we did export radical jihad purposefully to give the communists an extra enemy. But who needs history when you can make it into a holy war?

Actually it's pretty much the general consensus of the Pentagon's intel. Futhermore, even the most passionate supporters of the war in Iraq admit today that it was a mistake that created the mess that exists today

We actually printed school text books and shipped them to Afghanistan and Pakistan. This isn't a secret, and it's not a conspiracy. We actively worked to breed radical jihad to fight the soviets.

yeah.. this isn't classified information, we promoted an anti-Soviet Union agenda in Afghanistan, as well as taking part in arming and training the Mujahideen, who later broke off and became the Taliban
