I think it speaks volumes that Muslims in Syria rather live in foreign (non-Muslim, mostly-Christian, debauchery etc.) lands than look southwards towards the wealthy Gulf states. Not only do they share a common language with the Gulf Arabs but a faith and still they rather come to Europe.

Oh i forgot the Gulf petrol pimps give two shits about their Sunni brethren and take in zero refugees. Scum of the earth, they enjoy higher GDP per capita than most Europeans but they are too busy bombing Shia peasants in Yemen to consider lending aid to other Sunnis.

Read a story last night that the cost of a spot on a rubber raft and a slim chance of making it to your destination has risen to insane levels in Syria. Thus the reason that the people appear high class, the poor ones cant afford a spot on the boat. hated to bump a useless thread but it was an aspect of the situation i had not considered and thought id share in case anyone else also hadnt thought of it in that way.
