Unless I felt like a family member or myself was directly threatened, I don't think I could kill another human being unless essentially warranted.

It isn't always obvious either so in the event of uncertainty i may shoot the guy in the leg and call the cops, as opposed to shooting to kill.

I will medicate my own problems, if someone decides my property is needed to fuel their medical condition, then they will have to contend with my .45

Or a 9mm....at least you get to shoot a bunch more times even if you can't hear shit after you fire the first round. I quite actually like the Glock 23 .40 caliber...it holds a few more than the .45 and had about the same amount of "stopping power". But for home defense a .22 or a shotgun > Dirty Harry's hand cannon. Though it does feel cool walking around with a .45 like you're General God Damned Patton (might freak out the family).

My sister has the Glock 23, she carries it around, very compact.

She should get a pink baby glock, as to better fit in with heteronormative gender roles and whatnot.
