Our debt is sustainable, if anything it ties those countries that hold our bonds all the more closely to the American-led world order.

There has never been a country before that every other country acknowledges as a hegemon. Every credible academic firmly believes that the world is unipolar with America at the center.

It certainly helps that the American economy is stable, American demographics are sound, and that America has some of the densest concentrations of natural resources in the world.
