...so lets see...the IRS admits it was wrong...Obama says it was wrong...politicians from both side agree it was wrong... but Jay says it's okay and calls them tax frauds to boot ...what a hoot

...

I know that you being detached from reality puts a great strain on your ability to comprehend, so I'll spell it out a third time for you and anybody else in the headnodding crowd that may still be confused.

As I said twice, profiling based on political preference is wrong. But if we had the ability to prosecute these groups in accordance with the law, most of them would be guilty of tax fraud. There's simply no denying that (if you understand tax law), they routinely break the admittedly few rules that are in place meant to govern them.

So, predictably, you can't actually offer a valid response, and instead I'm treated to something that looks like Generic: Dementia Patient.

...you posted outright lies and scurrilous accusations and they are never worth arguing because only more of the same will follow . While you're posting this nonsense Holder has just promised a nationwide investigation and prosecution of any guilty parties and he may even pursue charges of civil rights violations by the IRS...but you just keep spinning away Jay , keep spinning away...

It's not surprising that you'd come to these conclusions given that you struggle with math and especially polling, but there are too many incorrect assumptions to let slide. I'm guessing you didn't read (or understand) the cross-tabs, or cross-tabs in general even. A 39-31-30 party self-identification breakdown is pretty close to the standard (and inside the accepted range) in order to receive an even number of responses. This is due to a number of factors (roughly 40% of self-identified "Independents" are actually core Republican voters, impacted "leaners" due to national party popularity/unpopularity) being the main two. So while 31% of respondents to this poll up front are self-identified Republicans, the actual opinions reach parity or extremely close to it. The opinions of the "someone else" 2012 voters spell that one out.

It's expected that a higher percentage of Republicans would identify which country Benghazi is in based solely on the fact that Benghazi is all they hear about from their "news sources." "Libya" will come up much more frequently in the cross-talk of Rush Limbaugh's rants or a "Breaking: New Revelations concerning Libya" scroller at the bottom of Fox News than it will on ABC, CBS, NBC, and the other sources that Democratic voters typically consult. The cross-tabs that score by self-identified ideology and not 2012 vote share bare this out. Democrats are treated to much more information and analysis on background checks, immigration reform, filibuster reform, the budget battle, VAWA, the fiscal cliff, and all the other things that have occurred over the last 8 months while Faux News has been going on and on and on about Benghazi.

The problem with each of your assumptions is scoring, but that's not entirely your fault because PPP accepted a poll with 8% who claimed they voted for someone else/couldn't remember (read: Romney), and you're not able to interpret findings adequately enough to know how hiccups in self-identification and leaners change things.

Don't pretend to know what I do and do not understand. I know full-well that polling will sample self-identified respondents within an "acceptable" range. With the quotes you pulled out, you tried to pass off the results of the full survey as damning of only one subset of the respondents. Don't tell me about math, son.

So, more Generic: Dementia Patient then? Captivating.

Unfortunately someone does need to tell you about math, you're pretty bad at it. I applaud you for trying though, and I don't think I'll make fun of your inability to understand polls for a while because at least you tried.

"Bu-but, Republicans only constituted 31% of respondents, durr durr durr." So good.

And yet you've STILL never shown where I am 'bad at math.' ISO demonstrable evidence of your unfounded accusation. Until then, I'll just chalk this up as another of your trademark 'derps' and leave it as is.

Your horrid attempt to "have fun with numbers" in response to the poll I posted is a perfect illustration of how bad you are with math, but that might be more about poor comprehension of polling moreso than poor mathematical ability. But enough about that, because I said I wasn't going to make fun of you for that for a little while and I intend to stick to that promise. I appreciate the effort, baby steps.

I expect that you'll eventually clue in to the now-old news that the federal deficit is shrinking faster than expected, and when you do I'm sure you'll make a comment on that that doesn't coincide with fiscal realities, and that'll probably make me start piling on again. But maybe I can put that off for a while.
