seriously.. shoot a large game animal in the heart and lungs.. most of the time it will run for easily 50 yards.

There's a 17 point buck still out there with my license plate tattooed to his ass assuming he's not sitting in someone's freezer.
And there's probably a 15 point buck with half a ICS Pro Carbon shaft embedded in his chest running around telling his grandkids about the mean 'ol hunter.

haha.. well im just saying.. ive shot enough deer in the heart that it pisses me off when i see people get shot in the chest in the movies and just flop over dead...

why?

because 9/10 deer ive shot in the heart run.. they SPRINT.. ive seen them run for 150 yards with their hearts split in small fragments... tell me why i am not capable of doing the same, please.

man... the feeling of a poor shot with an arrow resulting in a deer getting away is sickening. ive had it happen

most of the time they get gangrene and live in a lot of pain. and it brings me pain that they have to endure that and also knowing that i had it happen twice now.. one time was the result of a stick the other was due to my adrenaline

thats because you double shoulder them and waste a lot of meat and also allow them to die a slower, more painful death.

haha i wasnt talking about the distance itself merely saying i would still be relatively active...

i bet i could still knock a man out after running 10 feet with a bullet through the vitals.

unless of course that vital organ was the brain

...they're always dead by the time I climb down and get to the carcass . I've also taken at least 6 with intentional head shots and they were dead before they hit the ground .
