Every culture has this type of shit. Every population has it's fair share of scum. There were plenty of facebook posts ridiculing Fukishima as payback for Pearl Harbor.

Any sort of example like this you will find a hint of "patriotism" or "nationalism". This is a function of propaganda.

...it's actually more a symptom of the disease known as social media addiction where people get to say just about anything without repercussion often in the hopes of getting an overboard emotional response from the overly emotional readers knowing full well they keep on looking for more opinions that will upset them .

The translation is correct.
Its old news tho, there was a wave here in Israel about those retards who wrote these disgusting comments.
but like you see in the commments these are not smart people and you have these comments from both sides so I am not really surprised.
People often say "I wish X was dead" even to their parents (in some extream situation) today in the age of the new media they can say it while everyone else hear.
