I'm pretty sure he doesn't exist until we can prove his existence. That's how I thought things work, but that's just me.

We take it as a given that a 'god' gets special treatment in debates. 'god' is special and doesn't need to be proven, half the population just agrees to his existence and therefore we have to talk and deal with it as if a 'god' were not in the same category as unicorns and fairies.

It's so goddamn retarded.

Wrong, it is called faith. Where is your faith by the way? Do you need proof with everything? If somebody says close your eyes and I'll guide you to your location you are going to be putting your faith that they won't ram you into a pole right? Or are you going to want to have proof about that they can be trusted? If that is the case you are way too careful to be taking any risks at all. You might as well just sit in your room and never come out so you will never have to face any complications in your entire life ever again. Problem solved, until the Lord your God judges you that is.

Come on... You seriously cannot mean that for example everyone in a, let's say a small tribal society, who never possibly could have heard of either Jesus or christianity automaticly goes to "hell"? If that is the case, what a nice idea of a "loving" God you have. But I assume and hope this is not the way you look at it.

Well you don't have to worry about it because you have heard of us Christians!!!!! You are able to be saved by the Lord!!!!! I'll see you in Heaven old buddy old chump!

Hmmm...

Is bolding portions of quotes a PaRD trend or something?

the science against god,
i.e. the arguments against god. There are arguments for and against god.

What's your point with that post?

Wait a minute.

Anyone who believes in god should at least have the logic to assume that god will forgive anyone who wasn't able to hear about him/it.

Putting myself in your christian point of view,
how would God not have the capacity to understand that, say, a baby that died before it could learn to walk might not have had the intelligence or choice to convert to christianity if it so desired?

You think people that were oblivious to christianity (and I mean, never heard of it WHATSOEVER) seriously wouldn't be forgiven by Christianity's explanation of God?
THAT'S ILLOGICAL.

If you believe in God, then you believe in balance, then you believe that everyone has a fair shot.
If not everyone has a fair shot, then it's only logical to determine that the ones who had it rougher get easier an judgement .

I don't see where you are going with this. You don't really want to go from my point of view do you? Or are you going from the Christians point of view in general? For those that probably have never had the chance to ever hear of God in the first place (I can't think of anyone who would be in that situation) but even if there are people who would have never ever heard of Christ...well the answer lies in this bible passage:

Romans 2:12-16

If you read that and understand it then your questions will be answered.
