If I can't mail in my ballot I'm simply not going to vote.

Not going to go stand in line for hours on end with flat earthers that think we should be at civil war just to choose the next dipshit running the country.

Hours on end?

All of my voting is a simple in and out immediately at the local library. I've never had this scenario play out. I've also seen you agree with people on here that believe in flat Earth.

You are all over the place lol.

I mean, just because your area does not have wait times does not mean others don't to be fair. Even in the 2024 election you had Trump and Vance both on the mic requesting voters wait out the long wait times / lines that many were facing. So to be fair it is a thing.

This is true. I'm sure heavy populated areas run into long wait times.

10 year passport here now is 160 bucks.

10 year driver's licence 150 bucks.

My 5 year gun licence is 65 bucks.

Bastards.

You can get a digital ID for free though.

People complaining not having ID are crackheads living under a bridge or corrupt scum. Everyone else has at least one form of ID and usually several.
If you struggling financially the government can reduce or even waive the fee
Form DS-64 (Affidavit of Non-Payment) along with proof of financial hardship.

There is literally 0 excuses. If you are arguing for no voter ID you are essentially arguing for voter fraud

Yeah thats obviously the problem. But thats not seriously a question right? I mean is that a real debate?

So you're going on record. Kaltrato officially states that there is zero fraud, zero double votes, zero dead mail in ballots. Wanna stake money on that?

After doing some reading, it seems that the requirements vary by state, and in some places it’s possible to vote with a photo ID, while in others no ID is required at all.
What’s also striking is that around 20 million citizens lack documentary proof of citizenship.

So the first logical step would be to improve documentation access. Once coverage is above 99%, moving to a required photo ID system would make sense.
Trying to impose it from the top down would exclude about 9% of legal citizens from voting.
