Looks like the Iranian leader was killed, and Europe is saying to Iran - just turn the other cheek. A bit like how Europe and the US had a deal with Iran, the US broke the deal, and Iran was told to...turn the other cheek?
dear oh dear. i dont expect boots on the ground, or rather, regiments on the ground in Iran so its probable that this will fizzle out, but well, the risks here are mounting. BUT THATS OK IRAN IS THE BADDY HURP DURP.

I wonder what a Western, Democratic country would do when they are attacked and their leader killed. hmmm i am trying to think of the last western beacon of democracy that was attacked. What did Israel do?

Trump& co maybe expected a similar response as the summer. US/Israel kills a bunch of Iranian leaders and wrecks some of their defenses then Iran basically throws a bunch of rockets towards Israel that all get intercepted.

Idk if it was in the calculus that Iran starts going after US bases across the ME. Idk if we put the genie back in the bottle before Sunday futures. I expect oil, bonds likely spike while risk assets dump? Maybe market knew this Friday that's why you had the a pretty big sell off across tech?

You are probably annoyed that I mentioned Israel, as if Israel has nothing to do with this conflict and that you believe, based on your previous statements, that I believe global warming, the middle east conflict, and the fact that i stepped on poo this morning, is all Israel's fault. however the fact remains that this attack by the US on Iran, was at the behest of Israel.~
