I never said that these things would actually be taken away because they won't we all know they won't. The system is too corrupt which we all know. I said society would be better off and it will. What I think is funny is that you guys believe that this facade of having "freedom" and that's exactly what it is please don't kid yourselves. Anyway this facade allows you to sleep at night extremely comfortably knowing that people are out there abusing this freedom to do horrible things to other human beings and that's perfectly fine with you.

Also what I find funny is there's only one person on these forums that's even come close to fighting for these freedoms, other than myself I might add, yet every single one of you guys think that it's them. You all think that you're fighting for them. Which is almost equally disgusting.

Also for reference during his first term is when sports betting exploded because they deregulated it. Until 2018 you could only do sports betting through Nevada / Vegas. Back to gambling though; I think advertising it should be banned as an initial step. An idiot and their money can make their own decisions, should they want to risk it. Let them make the conscious effort to seek it out should they want to. The concern I have is the possibilty of getting people addicted from a young age. Sports betting has got out of hand, especially in Canada. Advertisements are EVERYWHERE. Every TV channel I see my parents watch, my own YouTube ads, and even physical advertisements on the trains, etc. it's crazy.
