Looks like this topic indeed attracted clicks from some fool on the internet
Yes everyone understands that media jump on stupid things because they know stupid people will look at it and then grifters can make content talking about how stupid the media is by giving that same media attention and then stupid people will watch the grifters content and the cycle continues.
Don't subscribe to such things and such things will die. It's like people who hate watch things.
