We both know that if Hitler wakes up, Putin would most likely make a deal with him and split the Europe in half between them.

Speaking of the Hitler-Stalin pact, there was a fitting theme float in today's carnival parade:

The current Polish PM, Donald Tusk, is a puppet of the EU and a center-left figure by Polish standards - it's just that the Polish political landscape is really conservative by the standards of most other countries, so even someone who is center-left by Polish standards will sound like a right-wing figure to most foreign observer.

Also note that Tusk and his pro-EU coalition have a very tenuous hold on power, they are under immense political pressure from the staunchly right-wing PiS party which was in power before them. Therefore, he has no other choice than to hold the line on migration and produce lots of snappy sound bites.

All in all, Tusk is still one of the better European leaders, though.

Regarding the topic of this thread, I'm with babun: let the rest of Europe pay the Brits and French for extending their nuclear umbrella. I want neither the clowns in Brussels nor the buffoons running/ruining my own country in charge of nukes.

The only reason Poland isn't an effeminate sissy country like much of the EU is because their post WW2 experience was under the USSR.

The same is true for most of Eastern Europe. Western Europe really is in the "good times create weak men, weak men create hard times" stage, isn't it?

I honestly think they are just making noise to feel relevant at the moment.

Exactly, when my boomer parents were growing up in the 60's and 70's Americans thought of Europeans as dirty degenerates.

Uhhh... What? I'm Polish. I've been to Poland. I'm pretty sure it's gay and sissy as it can get. There's an entire meme of Polish femboys. It's not just a meme though it is reality. Thanks Soviets. For the femboys.

Oh yeah, you've reminded me of all these gifs of polish catboys and shit I contemplate saving to make fun of polish people, but I don't want that stuff on my ssd drive in case I die.

Jokes aside, Poland is pretty "progressive" or "woke" dare I say. Especially for such a staunchly religious European nation. Compared to other heavily religious nations like Albania and Serbia, even more so.

It isn't quite the same level as Sweden or Germany, but I think you would be surprised.

You can't stop the evolution of culture. Ask the Catholic church. See how long they tried. (and where it got them)

We must accept that people and culture change. It's not wrong. It's okay. Even scripture and how we interpret it changes drastically over the years. If you spend too much time focusing on preventing something inevitable you will lose sight of what is truly important.
