Though this is how the healthcare is in the US. I was heavy into medical billing and coding but I didn't want to be the scum bag who has to tell people they are denied better care because of their insurance or lack of. If anyone goes in the medical field with "I should be a doctor, etc, you make a lot of money" should not be in the fucking medical field. Period. The moment you decide that over the wellbeing of another individual, I have 0 sympathy when this stuff happens.

For-profit insurance is just a sickness on principle, what's even worse is the insurance salespeople will sell people insurance on false pretenses about what is covered, only to deny them when they make a claim
Makes me think of the Thin Man insurance fraud from Game of Thrones. Guy refuses to pay out a settlement, and so the House of Black and White authorizes a pro-bono assassination on him.
