Still not sure why anyone gives a shit about this nothing burger.
purposely lying to the public at a critical juncture in an election window is basically fraud. Under current US law such actions, are not deemed illegal.
so in laymans terms:
If you were running for office (biden), and i was your subordinate (blinken), i am allowed, under current US law, to say that incriminating facts (the laptop) are not real. i am allowed to get 50 professionals to write an open letter that facts are not real, and I am allowed to trick the public into believing what I know to be a lie.
so, to bring this home, would you be of the same position if:
if you were running for office (trump), and i was your subordinate (whoever), i am allowed, under current US law, to say that incriminating facts (my involvement with putin) is not real. i am allowed to get 50 professionals to write an open letter that facts are not real, and I am allowed to trick the public into believing what I know to be a lie.
i tried to make this as simple as possible.
The only thing we know for a fact is that Blinken DID in fact do this, and there is no evidence to support the accusation against Trump.
