on a real note i hope you're not into watching the stuff ive watched. most of these people are so weird and their stories are just disturbing. the illegal and barely legal kink scene are so filled with trauma its wild that it goes on. the bsdm scene to me seems to be a spectrum from downright predatory sadists/masochists to a group therapy session where they take turns physically reliving their trauma to avoid processing it. and thats one of the more PG things ive read up on.

There certainly is a ton of psychosexual depth in kink; unfortunately, however, there's a pervasive smokescreen used if anyone questions things like the way you (and I/others) do. That you're either sex-negative, kink shaming, or failing to understand that people engage in kink reminiscent of trauma/abuse they've experienced so that they can have a sense of "control" which had previously been robbed from them.

yup i see it all too often, question something and you're shaming or phobic of the topic. booze is a way to process trauma too, its just not constructive. a dom to process it i'd get, a sub is just masochism in practice.
