id be happy if they returned to the 2022 child care tax exemption. they gave a literal 50% almost uncapped refund. we got like 4k$ back. then it went down to like 600$ in 2023. bait and switch.

Biden is quite shamelessly trying to bribe certain voter groups. See the student loan forgiveness program. See the recently announced amnesty for the spouses of US citizens. He's also tapping into the strategic oil reserve again, just like he did in the lead-up to the 2022 midterms.

To be fair though, Trump boosted his pre-covid economic boom with undue levels of peace-time deficit spending. (Still far better than Biden's even higher deficit which so far hasn't turned the corner on the economic stagnation.)

Also, reserves are rising. He released 1 million barrels back in May (we're at 370 MILLION barrels in the reserves, so 1 million is nothing) to help with prices cause all you republicans do is whine about gas prices as your drive your V8 super lifted trucks and donate all your money to Trump.

Biden depleted nearly half of the emergency US oil reserves in almost a year. him adding a few million barrels now is negligible. Worse, he has drawn down the reserve for non-emergency reasons. The barrels released in May had little to no impact for consumers at the pump.

There is something to be said about V8 vs modern constrained engine design. For example, Toyota Tundra gen2 known for million mile engine, many still running like they barely broken in at hundreds of thousands of miles. Tundra Gen3 known for blowing engines, huge recall. Old way was natural aspirated, new way is turbo and choke for emissions.

On the other end, there is Tesla model Y. The battery pack is closed cell spray foamed into the chassis... Imagine servicing a battery cell failure when it's foamed together. Google how much it cost to recycle closed cell spray, usually as much or more than cost of foam install.

US auto regulations don't really help consumer and feign to help environment. Love the V8, it will last
