If the sitting president now does things to make his term look good in order to accumulate votes.
Does this mean people are voting for all 4 years? or only the last gold fish brain moments before submitting a vote?

Does the propaganda from the 24/7 news cycle influence voting, if so does that add an element of rigging the election?

No, I don't think so.

I understand it feels nice to take the radical centrist "everybody sucks" tac but some things are actually one-sided. If Republicans "cheat", it's not in the same way Democrats do, and certainly orders of magnitude less effective or large in scope. If by "cheating" one means Gerrymandering (I've heard this) then no, that's not actually cheating. Cheating is filling out thousands of forged ballots that were mailed out and then harvested. Republicans are by and large folksy and gullible and don't do that sort of thing.
