I know our ultra rural high-school had guardians with everyone who was autistic, separate rooms for meal times (resource room), if they couldn't behave in PE they were removed, etc.

If in the event there was not enough staff in the day to handle such things, those kids were not allowed at school that day.

Guess this isn't a thing at all schools. Although, admittedly, boys probably too big to handle for most high-school resource teachers, that's reality. Tough case.

Seems like the fault lies with the agency who decided to place him in school. Weird how their name isn't mentioned, anyone know what agency it was?

People who want the kid locked up should read the article, sounds like his issues were known and being dealt with appropriately before the agency placed him back in school, also sounds like the mother questioned it and was against the idea but had no choice.

He has three prior battery arrests. What's he going to do when someone bumps into him on the subway, or takes his parking spot? He's a ticking time bomb who has demonstrated repeatedly that he can't be trusted in public.
