Yea man when you build your opinion from tons of different places it makes you more well rounded as an individual. Your also far less likely to "go off" on someone for something so mundane.
George Carlin was most definitely a liberal too which is why it's so funny because it's the "new age liberal socialist" that got so offended by his material and banded together to get it removed.

Yea man this is the one statement ill make about politics and it should hit home for a lot of you. There are corrupt individuals in your local politics too. It's not just the figure heads they show you on the late night news.
For example we found a husband/wife stealing upwards of 150k from our towns football club. If people in the community never spoke up they would've gotten away scott-free
We also had a mayor who kept his wife on the administration payroll for over a decade after she herself retired. Stealing hundreds of thousands' of dollars from our community.
Of recent we had an individual who was a board trustee try to sell a huge plot of land to a developer and thought "No one would notice". He didn't even know that what he was doing was illegal and a felony at that.
If regular joe's didn't do the digging no one would be held accountable. I'm sure you all have stories from your town! Go to your town hall and speak up about it. Its far more likely others see it how you see it.
We all want whats best for our community. Does it suck that our "country" is starting to fall and look like shit. Of course but you don't have a say in Washington. You have a say in your local community.
