He could have appealed or even shown up to fight for his own case. But too much of a loser. Yet he’s a hero in your diluted brain that losing a court case and murdering the judge is a good father to the children he so cares about. Great role model like yourself.
Lots of dads stay connected and make positive impacts to their kids life even with what happened to him in court, but your hero is a loser for his family and himself. Shocker your on his side.

Why did he miss the custody hearing though? If it was because his wife hid the letter from him (a possibility), then it was not his fault that he missed it.

Anyway, I don't side with anybody here. Obviously, murdering people is wrong and can never be justified. But I do understand why someone would do such a thing. It wasn't fair that he had to pay child support yet could not see his kids. And apparently he lost the house too. The judge went too far. And like someone pointed out, the man got nothing to lose now.
