Do you presume that anyone who starts a dialogue is offended? I was legitimately interested in how you thought that either of the only two Canadians posting spoke of the USA or if you were actually just posting some generalist irrelevant comment, which is fine as well but if you're actually referring to something discussed above, you could open a dialogue about it and would be interested to know what you were referring to. Perhaps you think Canadian Left and Right spectrum is the same as the USA, its a debatable topic, although I think pretty one-sided.

I responded to two canadians who were talking about USA vs CA.

Feel free to elaborate. I think its pretty common to state what country you reside from when declaring where you fall on a political spectrum. Obviously Canada differs from the USA as it differs from the Netherlands or South Africa.
