You aren't very smart so I'll let you know.
Nothing. This isn't an organic movement of concerned parents. It's a very small movement of Republicans trying to rile up their base because the usual wedge issues of civil rights, gay marriage, and abortion are off the table.
The difference is their base and the population at large don't really care. This issue is basically just a litmus test for gullibility.
The population at large care so little that in the span of a few years Republicans have used this wedge issue to completely flip polling on education and give themselves a lopsided advantage on an issue Democrats historically dominated. You have to be blind if you think they're angling to their
base, they found an issue that cuts everyone but the most goodthinking far-left away from all their mainstream and minority support intraparty and unites them with Republicans, and they're pounding it as hard as they can. And now Democrats are trying to campaign by avoiding the education issue entirely and trying to diffuse it with absurdities like "free school lunches
for rich families"
There's a reason that foxnews runs articles about 'school districts transitioning kids and lying to parents about it' on an almost 24/7 loop now;

Funny thing is you guys said the same thing about gays.
You ever get tired of being proven wrong on the same talking points over and over?
The T trying to throw their hooks into the LGB and ride it is no more compelling than MAPs trying the same thing.
The difference is gay people always existed and were recognized throughout every historical culture because they're naturally occurring.
All the historical revisionism and cherry picking and conflation in the world won't change the fact none of this existed until a few years ago, or the fact men can't become women
