This is stupidly inefficient & expensive for any kind of lab work
The robot will need constant preventative maintenance
The robot will be screwing up constantly and need correction
As Netflix said automation enhances our work, not replacing it. Automated instrumentation is the core of genomic sequencing for example, and manual injections have gone the way of the dodo (autosamplers)
One thing that people constantly ignore when talking about automation & robots is cost - these things aren't cheap
