Dismissed means the judge killed the case based on legal proceedings. This case went all the way through and Trump was found liable for defamation because the jury thought it was more likely than not that Trump committed sexual assault

Manhattan jurors would find Trump guilty of being a turd sandwich. My understanding is that the judge blocked the lawyers from even knowing who the jurors were, so there's also grounds for appeal on that alone.

As this will go to appeal, we can obviously hope that a case with no evidence in which the accuser cannot even remember the year of the alleged assault is thrown into the dustbin of history where it belongs.

My understanding is that the judge went with an anonymous jury due to a history of Trump lambasting the court/juries and wanting to avoid any harassment by Trump supporters.
