she's constantly in the news but it has been nice to see her back slide on a lot of shit. she basically abandoned the green new deal and has cried about treatment of her on social media, when for a year it was how she's some guru of social media engagement. solid meme tho.

i know the games and book are nearly identical, but i've only read the books. im sure it will be bad, but i do like the cast!

I wonder if Amazon is capable of delivering on both the Wheel of Time and Middle Earth Second Age adaptations they're working on. Right now it feels like a sort of fantasy calm before the storm type of mood.

i have zero faith that the wheel of time series will be anything but shit. there's an issue with too little source material (GRRM) then there's the issue of far too much, Wheel of time at 14 books is just too much.

you can't cast children and move at the correct pace, shit they feared that in Harry Potter which is half the # of books and maybe 1/4 the number of words.

my guess is that gets a slightly better treatment than the "Dark Tower" movie, which was a rushed shit show of a representation of one of the better series of all time.
