Not specifically the pussy part, but the fact that society is always going to have people on the bottom no matter what form of government you have. It is a result of people being human and people running the gov being human. Nothing more or less, tbh.

Your feelings on how this country is to other countries or what is an acceptable level of poverty and addiction don't change that those people have votes and they have used them in the past to punish parties and candidates to express their frustrations and anger at the desperation their towns experience.
It doesn't matter how you two feel about their situations it's how they feel. They gave a candidate the benefit of the doubt, they are still suffering all that matters is how they feel. If you guys don't think they will once again exercise their only power which is their vote I believe you are mistaken.
The same people forgotten by the Democratic party over the last bunch of years are the same people being forgotten again nearly immediately after they were promised change and help
you guys can say all politicians lie and fail but that is an excuse for internet posters, those struggling will find someone to take it out on politically and it's usually the President
