You reap what you sow. Years on end of shoving and lumping moderate republicans into that fringe group just exacerbated the issue.

Perhaps I'm wrong, it was intentional and there is foul play behind these developments. It's hard to not be persuaded by the idea that you are just pawns or at the very least it's become way more compelling to believe so.

But conspiracy thinking aside, what did you expect to come out of this approach? Did you really believe anyone would be persuaded by it?

its very hard to have a free society when you dont have freedom of the press. right now the press in America is controlled by freedom-hating radical leftist authoritarians dedicating their craft to destroying the freedoms we have.

Yeah that doesn't make it any better.

The point I was trying to make was rather simple; If you hope to persuade political opinions, demonizing is far from the best strategy. Rather, it has the opposite effect.. You're not in a position to complain about a mess you yourself helped create.
