California has 52 illegal aliens and 52 homeless, addicted, mentally ill citizens. California was only given 52 dollars to help all these unfortunate people.

How many California citizens can California help, if they use all 52 dollars on illegal aliens?

ive been against every measure more or less on the border for years, and i want the border closed down and immigration issues markedly improved.

you didn't say how much it costs to help each person.

also you listed the value given per person as "X" then later just said it was 52$. presumably the amount of $$/person is the question, not the number of people they can help. you also didnt say if the 2010 census data included illegal immigrants, or homeless people for that matter. both can be hard to get census data on.

From what I've read from actual Border Patrol agents, they are severely understaffed and underfunded. They need about five (yes, 5!) times the personnel.

Also, since you brought it up, according to Border Patrol agents who work near current walls, they're actually very effective. Soooo, keep REEEE'ing. But you won't hear any of that, won't jive with your narrative.

I don't really trust border patrol agents to know what would be effective measures but definitely appreciate if they feel they need more staffing
