So a few days ago in Minneapolis, a family of a mom, dad and kids in Minneapolis saw their neighbor start their car to warm up in the cold and a group of carjackers showed up and tried to break into it while it was locked. The dad goes downstairs and opens the door to confront them, but as soon as the carjackers see him they turn, pull out guns and open fire. He dodges back inside and closes the door amid the hail of bullets and the carjackers run away. One bullet rips right into a child's bedroom and next to the kids. The parents call the police, who say they'll take a report and otherwise blow them off and don't send anyone. The family posts the video of the carjacking onto social media, facebook and twitter, and gets some traction showing the reality of the situation in Minneapolis. In response, the very next day, the same vehicle the carjackers showed up in comes back and does a drive-by shooting, opening fire on their home. They call the police again. The police say due to restricted resources, they are unable to assign a detective to the case at this time, and they haven't updated them in the days since. The family is entirely on their own.

None of this made the news. They were too busy fearmongering about JANUARY 6th chuds who were out there on JANUARY 6th committing an INSURRECTION and COUP and ATTACK ON DEMOCRACY
I watched the national broadcasts for 3 nights in a row have 30+ minutes of their hour of coverage devoted to JANUARY 6th because those are TERRORISTS who are out to get us and we need to be afraid of JANUARY 6th chuds

Hey national news, don't fearmonger about a national story with national implications, instead fearmonger about this local story with limited local implications.

The rule of law is gone.
What is right and wrong no longer matters.
The police work for your enemy.
They will not protect you.

Also, all in on the carjackers being minorities.
Import the 3rd world,
become the 3rd world.

In closing, lock your doors.
Carry a gun.
Keep it chambered.

edit: the reason why this stuff isn't on national news is because they are trying to keep everyone from learning this fact for as long as possible.
