because it's much easier to fearmonger with terms that have been misdefined and demonised for decades than addressing actual policy positions and exposing the vulnerability of your own ones.

Equivalence needs to be earned.

Taxation isn't really theft. It's more like a maintenance contract. You pay someone a monthly or yearly amount, and they keep the roads fixed, the other countries from taking your land, etc.
