BLM are pawns in somebody else's hands, that's all there is to it. It's a shame too, because it didn't have to be that way. If their leadership had spine and actually cared about making real changes, they could have been a force for good. Instead they sold out to the highest bidders... how predictable.

Most young kids that go to BLM protests are either in college or fresh college graduates, they have very little idea of what the real world is like and are generally clueless. They spend their lives on reddit/social media and know nothing outside of their various echo chambers, thus giving them a very distorted understanding of reality.

I'm sure there are some leftist advocates out there that are actually trying to do good things. However, many of them buy into the party propaganda and this ultimately corrupts them in some way.

Those individuals need to disconnect themselves from the Democratic party and declare themselves as non-affiliated with them. At this point the Democratic party is so bad and so outrageous with their constant stream of atrocious lies, it's difficult to take anyone that stands with them seriously. They make all leftists look bad, even the good ones. Sorry.

Oh before that they have to disavow some rando in an organization because the right wing media promote her in bad faith when the protestors have no fucking idea that there even is a formal organization and 'leader' to BLM. They are also just a bunch of inexperienced dumb kids who don't actually know anything and it isn't like this sort of disparagement of a civil rights movement has never happened before.

If they cared about criminal justice reform, they would be calling for less people to actually be put in jail. They would call to end the drug war, which is responsible for putting more minorities in jail than anything.

Did they do that? Nope, instead they burned down the businesses of innocent people and called for defunding the police with no alternative plan in place to deal with violent crime. And now violent crime has absolutely skyrocketed in places where they actually did defund the police.

And then they wonder why people dislike their 'movement'. Lol
