What you count as wins and failures indicates how incredibly small and petty your lives are. I'm being asked to "own my heritage" on the union jack when I've never lived in the South, never flown it, never even remotely identified with it.
Wow some failure.
I guess when your actual life is as empty and pointless as yours seems to be, you grasp for any imaginary "win" you can get.
no one asked u to own anything, it was asked why conservatives fly the confederate flag. u voluntarily offered that you dont. after confusing "conservative" for "republican". maybe you're just as bad at reading as you are at making excuses for what is pretty obvious proof of the southern swap of party affiliation.
funny considering u found out about 40 years after it happened or more from facebook level memes that democrats owned slaves.
i live 10 miles from the house where the republican party was founded, and almost bought the house of one of the original founders.
although it only takes someone with an IQ above 60 seconds to figure out in the 1850s which side was conservative (wanting to keep things the way they are) and which side was liberal (wanting changes).
that's what those two words mean. applied in context, conservatives (democrats) wanted to preserve slavery (the way things were going back to Columbus), the liberals (republicans) wanted slaves freed, a new things, and novel idea.
liberals fought for jim crow laws to be abolished, voting rights of women, gay marriage rights, and almost every change to the status quo this country has ever had. but hey, im sure u have a lot of counter examples where conservatives changed hundred year old institutions in the USA.
