Although it is interesting we have no school shooter thread. I think it's legitimately because school shootings are just a normal occurrence these days. Might even just become an every day occurrence like gang violence.
There have been 5 school shootings in 2025 across 131,000 schools (k-12) in the US. I haven't bothered to check how Wikipedia is cooking the books, but rough math suggests a 1% chance of being present at a school when a school shooting occurs once per 200 years of schooling.

Your odds of being killed in a mass shooting at school are absurdly low. It's such a rare occurrence. You have 2x the odds of being struck my lightning. You have a FAR greater chance of dying in a vehicle. Hell, kids statistically have a far greater chance of dying on a skateboard or bike.
But people don't want to hear that. They act like it happens all the time. Even with ;"school shooting" stats skewed because they count any gang related shootings on school property as part of this as well.
