I understand that all of this falls in a broader, more contemporary issue. However, at the same time, the amount of energy, resources, and airtime devoted to all things trans-related seems disproportional to the level of real-world severity as compared to other issues.

My hope is that people don't mistake this as "whataboutism", because there is a legitimate conversation to be had on all of this. I'm just suspicious how manufactured this all is, and at the risk of sounding conspiratorial, I think it compelling the idea that powers that be would much prefer a populace that perseverates on issues that have little real-world implications for their own life, but yield high degrees of conflict and discord.

If we don’t speak up and fight for women’s sports, there will only be men’s and “trans” league, if this keeps up.
