No it wasn't, you've already half-bought the lie, it was a dirty old coronavirus (a common type of flu virus) that came out of the dirty old Wuhan wet markets. Mortality was not statistically different from any other flu virus, and deaths were inflated from the directed killings of the elderly by locking them all up together. And the only people who died were the elderly and immunocompromised, just like every other flu virus.

Lab leak theory is a red herring. It wasn't engineered

i have seen claims it hasnt been isolated. that may have changed. the interesting part if the 'virus is manmade then it would be considered property and if some one did have it isolated they couldnt admit to it

Its cute you assume I'm a tech - there's a laundry list of PhD applicants for my position (senior chemist) who are all terrible applicants. And yeah I've never been a tech - I skipped that career stage through merit. Sounds like you went through it because you're a sub 50 percentile.

Why does it have to be human cells to culture the virus in a lab? It's just a model organism used to model a cellular process, it doesn't immediately invalidate it because they used something like a Vero cell.

They do use human cells for this work too though so even then your non-sensical goalpost movement is meaningless.
