You're giving Hillary too much credit. The FBI operated under the assumption that she would soon be their boss, and handled her case accordingly. The politicization of the Justice Department is the main threat to American constitutional democracy currently. That being said, Trump isn't making anyone work hard to toss him in jail. If he thought he had a right to these documents he should have declared them accordingly. I'm not sure what his defense is supposed to be at this point.


HRC can't be a cabal level mastermind of the deepstate with 5,000+ body count AND an idiot who can't set up a simple trap of plausible deniability for a small batch of classified info. i dont think she's a 200+ IQ genius, but it's not hard to distance yourself just far enough from a scrubbed (C) server to avoid jail time. just dont have boxes full of paper copies and you'll be fine, and she was.

She had lawyers who took the fall and said they scrubbed it of their own volition. The fact Trump opined about that is unironically cited in the indictment as evidence against him, which leads to the extra delicious layer of unintentional irony by the prosecution and their double standard. They want to argue Trump is a criminal for merely discussing a parallel to a case they argued wasn't criminal

evidence =/= criminality.

he's not a criminal MERELY for talking about HRC, he's an alleged criminal for being physically in possession of classified material he was told to return.

possession is after all nine tenths of the law. he had that thang on him.
