it tickles me that the new york post article is the one driven by simple facts and logic and keenly deconstructing the other side's babble. Nobody can really argue with their reasoning- We already know there will be negative material on Trump in the Mueller report, so the NYT article is a bunch of tosh. Its ridiculous for the anti-Trumpers to triple down on a truth-is-out-there desperation of the Mueller report when there's no plausible scenario in which Barr lies about the report and gets away with it. The New York Post says literally the exact same thing I've been saying and everyone else with a brain has said, that if Barr was lying, Mueller would speak out. Duh.

I just don't get how so many human beings lack the capacity for introspection and self-criticism that they can do nothing but perpetually put up more defensive mechanisms when their worldview shatters. Admit you're wrong, adapt to the facts. I'm wrong sometimes, and I'm usually the one who winds up pointing it out.
