I should have voted for Gary "Aleppo" Johnson.

(CNN)House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Richard Neal has formally requested President Donald Trump's tax returns from the Internal Revenue Service, likely launching a battle with the administration that could stretch months or even years in the courts and could shed light on the President's finances.

In a letter to the IRS sent Wednesday and first obtained by CNN, Neal cites a little known IRS code in his request for six years of Trump's personal tax returns from 2013 to 2018. He also requested the tax returns of eight of Trump's business entities, a nod to escalating pressure from liberals in the caucus who have argued that Trump's personal returns wouldn't sufficiently paint a picture of the President's financial history.

I know the Trump supporters here like to hold the president accountable for his campaign promises. It looks like Democrats in the House are going to help with that.

Something we can all agree is a good thing, amirite?

That whole "Aleppo" thing was BS to begin with. It was a completely off-topic, 'gotcha' question by Mark Halperin to try to throw Johnson off. You watch the rest of that interview, you'll see he was able to collect his thoughts after the initial gotcha, and provide an in depth response.

i'm not quite sure if you actually didn't get my post, or if you're just being your usual hacky self again so i'll just ask you a simple and direct question:

are you genuinely suggesting that wind turbines are even remotely close to fossil fuel in terms of negative ecological impact? and i'm not just talking about the massive long-term climatic consequences, i'm also talking about the facilities and infrastructure itself: destroyed eco-systems, pipeline and tanker oil spills, fracking and mining damage...
