No, I just find it funny how you are so fucking blind. Do you really think the U.S 'loses' in engagements? It is more like the morality of our military and the laws of war that make us 'lose' on foreign soil.

It is so funny every time I see some low level minded person purposely exclude different avenues of logic to further their half-baked points.

If the US military options are to lose or to slaughter everyone, then they still lose. Genocide isn’t a victory, nor should it be seen as military policy.

And in their own country, if the only option is to destroy their own land and infrastructure or lose to the people, they also lose either way.

That is pretty obvious, and is often something that people against gun owners fail to realize.

I’m glad we’ve moved onto more rational discussion. It’s disturbing to see just how effective the authoritarian propaganda is. The Clintons have even convinced right wingers to default to wanting to register and give up their guns and submit to the “overwhelming power” of government - that power is, in reality, paper thin. Governments don’t enjoy a public mandate or any real consent of the governed. They at best enjoy a plurality of participants in systems they manage. When things begin to crumble, people will easily turn on whatever government is in place, be it “conservative,” “liberal,” or whatever they claim they are at the moment.

Nice try. No one wants Americans to give up their guns. Bump stocks however, are not necessary.

/e Well no one that's sane, any way.

guns are just a tool. Regardless of what shape that tool takes and its power, the wielder is the one that uses it.

The world has seen people like we see those today in worse numbers all the way up until modern history. We are just globalized and the world sees a lot of what happens everywhere. trust me when I say this, even without evidence/data in my rhetoric, the world is MUCH more civilized now compared to how it has every been. And there are less deaths caused by guns than there used to be caused by swords or bows.

I'll add this:

Most of my family has served in some capacity, and I grew up hunting with them in the south. So I also know a bit about how the military controls guns. They keep guns not currently in ordered use locked up in a rack with security systems to prevent someone from just grabbing a gun. They also remove guns from service-members who are going through "emotional distress." And every private gun on base is reg'd with the provost marshal and has to be checked out. No concealed carry.

So the military, with its hierarchical system that demands obedience and which has its own severe justice system that doles out punishment quickly regulates the absolute shit out of guns within its own organization.

They also know that they maintain a paper thin control over the people, even those within their most direct subordination.
