Because Obama has been deporting many more Mexicans than the past few presidents. Obama has already addressed Trumps biggest talking point. Of course most Trump supporters won't listen to a black guy.

Weve been ove this several times. The deportation rate peaked right after Bush left and has been declining ever since. Ask anyone (legal) who lives near the border.

I believe they changed it so that blocking people from entering gets counted as deporting now. Which makes his numbers look a little better.



how do they measure this? Actually would like to know. I have no clue how they even arrived at the 11m or whatever number to begin with, if the people are literally named after 'being off the books'.

Basically, there might be a lot of people out there that support Donald Trump (particularly white Democrats and moderates) who won't voice it simply because they are scared of the social backlash they might face.

if the backlash given here is any indication of what real life backlash would be like, it isn't surprising in the least.
