McCain was offered a spot in a prisoner exchange because his dad was an influental admiral. He refused to seize on his "privilege" and take the easy way out, because he knew that it would destroy the morale of his fellow prisoners that he'd leave behind. As a consequence of refusing this offer, he spent another 2 years in the vietnamese prison.

THAT is what makes him a war hero.

kudos to him for being a man. still has nothing to do with my post which started all this about how trump handled it. are 2 diffrerent subjects.

"No comment" and ceasing to spit on the grave of the dead would be even better than "like a boss" it would be a start to acting like a President with dignity and respect for the power and responsibility he holds

so you wouold rather he lie about how he feels? said he never agreed with his views and didnt like mccain i really find that hard to compare that to spitting on someones grave. may i remind you i dont like trump personally or agree with most of his views. i just dont like whats society has become towards topics like this. may i remind you this only started from me saying "like a boss" and referred to how he handled the situation. which has no reference or meaning towards his political stance dont you have anything else better to do with you time than petty bickering lol?
