Ya know what's amazing? I never see all these war-hero-honorers, down at the local VFW honoring THOSE war-heroes.

But let some anti-Trump person have been IN the war somewhere, and OMG everyone is suddenly a war-hero worshiper.

He wasnt some anti trump person he was a pow survivor and a respected United states senator that has passed.

One that I disagreed with constantly but one that still deserves to not have his name smeared by the president of the United states after he has passed.

Some of us refuse to lower bars for your favorite president

Dignity has nothing to do with it. McCain started it, Trump finished it.
Yes, I would rather he "finished it" more classily, but we can't have everything.

Yeah and for some strange reason this made me a fan of McCain in his later years. I never cared much for him or his politics but he showed real class when dealing with the donald. god bless and rip johnny mccain

What do you mean with "Trump finished it"? Feuding against someone who cant fight back (because he's dead...) is not proving anything and is a classless act indeed.

I'm out of the loop on this one, so I cant tell if the claims really are false. If they are, then I agree with you and it's indeed classless from Trump to smear a dead man like that.

If, however, his claims are correct, then I find it justifiable for Trump to point out McCain's attempts of smearing him.
Even then, I dont support making a "feud" out of this with a long series of rage tweets, but setting things straight in a one-off tweet would be ok for me if there really was something significant to set straight.

you just wrote "McCain started it, Trump finished it". now you want to tell us that this "it" - which McCain started according to you - refers to Trump's policies?!
