I mean, when I program I spend 99% of my time on probably 1% of the code. The rest is cookie cutter data manipulation that you can have anybody do after they know the basic syntax and required formatting.

Not much. It was mostly the picture and the media loving anything that's clickbait. Anyone worth their weight knows that it is a group effort of tens if not hundreds of people. The only ones focusing on the gender are people like Asha ten Broeke (she's one of the most annoying people in the Netherlands, and that's saying a lot), and incels who are completely outraged that a female scientist gets some praise for her work.
