Could use the same reasoning for children though too. But none of us thinks it's OK to allow parents to just abandon their children on the street.
I'm using libertarian logic, I don't actually believe this stuff. And there have been prominent libertarians who think kids could form a free market of parents by leaving and finding new ones.
