The pre-1947 violence between Arab, Jew, and British colonizer was the main driver behind the ignominious British exit. The situation is in even worse shape today. A one-state solution that does not guarantee a Jewish majority will lead to the inevitable mass slaughter of Israeli Jews. Just look to the West Bank Palestinians currently celebrating the murder of Jewish infants.
