He should be criticized and held to a high standard as all power should

The curve and low bar for this president are unacceptable

Politicians hold power and deserve to be held accountable, the president more than the rest.

Complacency and political apathy in the name of patriotism is people inflicting self harm in my view

Held to a high standard of what, exactly?

What has he done, as President, that disqualifies him, in your view?

Removed the individual mandate, so that young people are no longer forced by law to buy into a financial service?

Attempted to strengthen border security to save American lives?

Reduced overarching regulation on business, helping to create millions of jobs?

Reduced federal taxes for the overwhelming majority of the population, while simultaneously preventing the rich from writing off all their state taxes in heavy taxed blue states like California, effectively forcing such states to reevaluate how much they are taxing their citizens?

Oh! You must be talking about mean tweets. Who gives a shit?

You'll have to catch up in the other threads where we have all gone back and forth on the same things over and over, self described centrist

You cannot summarize? Because all I see in other threads are people scrambling to prove that Trump has committed some form of collusion, which committee members already said he did not, or business crime. What does that have to do with his actions as President?

Near as I can tell, the only thing of actual substance, that isn't hearsay and nonsense, is that he's an asshole who tweets mean things. Great! So what?

As a working class citizen, I'm much more concerned with how much of my paycheck I actually get to use. It has gone up. There are more jobs in my field than there are people to work them, so I actually have more options of where to work. Because of this, I've been given several raises over the last couple years, and am making over half again what I was. What exact action as President has Trump done that negatively impacts me personally? What standard am I supposed to hold him to where I am supposed to think he's doing a poor job, when his policies have had such a direct positive impact on my life?

We get a conservative pretending to be a centrist with the same talking points every week

I've done the back and forth a hundred times as have others here. It's not a fruitful endeavor as you will not say anything we haven't heard here many times and I will not say anything these fine people haven't seen me rant about many times

Also no need to defend your claim of being a centrist by saying you hate blah or blah to validate your claim, your short time here has resulted in plenty of posts to already validate mine

I'm glad Trump has made America great again for you

What a nonsensical post. If your entire point of responding to me was to say you aren't going to respond, why did you respond?

When I voted for Obama, believing he would uphold his campaign promises and make the country more prosperous, that was the standard I held him to. Here were the results:

1. I lost my insurance, and had to pay for something that cost 3x as much, and covered less.
2. My pay remained frozen, without a single raise, for years.
3. Both my federal and state taxes continued to rise, meaning I was actively making less.
4. I was constantly called names simply for being white, and told what trash I was.

So, I reviewed the policies of Clinton, realized, "Hey! It'll be more of the same. Yeah, nope. Let's see, Trump is a complete asshole. His policies though, are pretty moderate. He wants to increase some social programs, but that's okay. Hey, he wants to cut taxes and reduce business regulation to increase competition. Hmm... Well, the guy's a dickhole, and has lied plenty about his intentions before. But would I rather take a chance and vote for him, expecting the worst, hoping for the best, and knowing full well that Congress and the Courts will block him every step of the way if he tries to do anything truly ambitious? Sure!"

So, you want to attack me as some conservative. Yet if I am conservative, for believing that overwhelming regulation that completely stifles the market, and steadily increasing taxes while at the same time freezing the economy so there is no income raise is a bad thing, welp. You've just labeled the entire working and middle class as conservatives. Great job!
