Does that mean all straight people are like that? No. That is true for gay people as well.

I never go to gay pride parades or bars. I live in the country and you’d never guess I’m gay if you were to see me on the street. I enjoy outdoor sports and watching NFL & NBA games.

Those gay people that live in the country are invisible. Like me. You only see those “weirdos” like in these picture because … well, duh, they really stand out like a sore thumb and it’s so blatantly obvious they’re gay. So that’s all you know about them. You don’t see the invisible ones.

I don’t approve of these public displays personally but there’s not much I can do about it. But I definitely do not attribute myself with these people and I believe they do more harm than good. But what can I do?

But you are certainly going to end up in the same “dumb people” category with these people from centuries ago who believed in dumb things like demon-possessed left-handers and deaf/blind people. :)) I leave that up to you whether you wanna be educated or not.
